Hello, I think the game is really well-made. I came across this game while I was planning to kick-start my youtube career as well. So, I thought I would do a short horror game. It's crazy how much details are put into this game I did not expect the cat part like AT ALL (spoilers!!!). There are so many eastereggs which I am sure I still haven't explored yet. I have been trying to make similar style games with ps2 effects as well and really great to see what you put out. Great execution and I would love to see more games from you! Below is my reaction to the game as well and I did not think so many people were doing it as well haha.
You did such an amazing job, I'm honored to have inspired something so cool. This was a real labour of love, and deserves every bit of praise it's been getting!
Honestly had a great time with this one, love the direction and vibe the story took and think this could be expanded into a different kind of game if you wanted.

What a solid game this was! Awesome idea for sure! Loved the slow building into something more sinister overtime. Really helped set the stage. Made a video on it.
It's "Branches Where I Can See Them", it was made for them game like the rest of the soundtrack. I will upload all the music on my YouTube channel (in a day or less)!
Why is it that when I get into the game, the main character gets out of bed and my view is teleported to the view of a bloody axe slapping through a tree? No matter how I move, the view is stuck there, and I can press the WASD button and hear the protagonist's footsteps, but the view is always on the tree with the axe?
Great game! I'm a little confused about the second ending through. I'm guessing you need to find all 20 symbols, but I can only find 10 and have looked everywhere. I have no idea where the other 10 could be.
Un placer volver a jugar a un juego tuyo. La historia me ha parecido muy interesante, al igual que las mecánicas del juego. Es inquietante ver sangrar a un árbol como si fuera una persona. Me parece algo antinatural, pero muy idóneo para un juego de terror. Tus juegos son sinónimo de calidad, así que te he puesto 5 estrellas como no podía ser de otra forma. Saludos!!!
P.D. He intentado conseguir el otro final sin éxito por mi cuenta, quería ver si podía cambiar el destino de los acontecimientos.

A mi también me pareció muy interesante la idea de unos árboles desarrollando un método de defensa que daña así a la mente de sus leñadores, pero tengo que dejar claro que la idea es de Valdevia, un artista español de terror. El juego está basado en su obra "Bloodbark Trees". Todas sus obras son muy buenas, y muchas de ellas están también referenciadas en el juego. Solo hay que merodear de vez en cuando para encontrarlas :D
Nice this was excellent game I liked it very much just asking are you planning but this game on Steam too? I just notice the cat behiden cabin am not evil or bad person cause I really love cats in real life and I was curious what will happen to kill the cat now I know that god punished me so I did that kind trophy I hope that you understand that I am not evil but I still really enjoyed playing this game anyway well done keep it up!

我很喜欢这个游戏的氛围以及设定！但是游戏的成就彩蛋有点滥竽充数了 ，大多数成就并不值得去收集。成就我只收集到了17个，涂鸦我找到了19个。每一颗树我都仔细看了三四遍，不知道哪里漏掉了。涂鸦有两种颜色，黑色和红色，木屋的房檐，壁炉，房后都有涂鸦。大多数的涂鸦都在路边的树上，有些会在树的背面，比较难发现。另外第二结局到底该怎么收集，作者能不能给点提示呢。还想说一点是，作为一个短篇的恐怖游戏，不应该出现这么多的成就彩蛋，保留精品就足够了。
花费了好几个小时，我终于是找到了第20个涂鸦，本以为会有有趣的东西等着我，结果是无事发生！甚至连成就都没有弹出！我非常失望
Hi! The game is inspired by an artist, so I really tried to fit as many references to him and his works as I could fit into the game.
It is true I should have had some kind of reward for collecting everything! Maybe in some future update, if there is, I will come up with something.

Did the animation from the start show up? To verify if you are maybe still caught in the tree-with-an-axe animation loop.
